New Cluster Details

I am in the process of building the new web cluster, incase anyone is curious here are the details of the two identical servers that will replace websvs1 & websvs2.. vsrv1 & vsrv2

Upgrade in Progress

I moved the hosting CP to a Virtual Instance for the time being, everything is running off our backup cluster right now (pair of Sun Fire V210) and performance looks stellar... there having no issues keeping up with current demand.

Impending Upgrade

Wanted to give a heads up to all our clients that we are planning on removing our primary webserver (websvs1.nayr.net) from the cluster next weekend. When this happens services will automatically failover to our backup cluster, the web console may be shortly unavilable but the avability of the rest of our services should not be impacted.

Web Quotas Disabled

Due to a bug with OCFS2 and Quotas we were forced to disable them to maintain a reliable service.. until we confirm a good fix the best work-arround is to disable usrquota and grpquota's entirely.

The web console will no longer reflect your quota usage, we have plenty of free space but I will keep an eye on things and notify anyone coming close to any limits manually.

If you want to check your disk usage, login to a shell account and issue 'du -hs /var/www/clientid', I will write a wrapper script in a few days to simplify this task..

HostAP.net Launched

|nayr|NETworks| is proud to announce the launch of our WebHosting Division dubbed HostAP.net, we have been hard at work creating the new brand and all our existing hosting users have been successfully moved over.

Currently all Webhosting Packages are avilable for immideate purchase, in the next few weeks we will be preparing a few WebHosting Appliances for deployment and we will offer those as soon as they are ready.
